The Wolf (Review 18)
'The art style is dramatic while the background of each depicted scene is simple (forest green takes centrestage but sometimes an indoor setting or a white background appear). In terms of the story, the sentences are a little long, and individual phrases are a little profound (sway, soul, potential), and it makes me feel that the book is more suitable for children of ages 3 and above.'
'Personally, I feel that the story has a modern and commercial feel to it. Certain parts of the book which talk about auditions, rock bands, exclusive interviews, celebrities and so on, may be difficult for very young children to understand.'
